  8. Thomas L. Milliorn is a 31-year-old artist living in western Washington with his veterinarian wife and 
  9. their three cats.  He works in a variety of two-dimensional media, including pen & ink, watercolor, 
  10. acrylic, and oil paints.  Most of his subject matter has a science fiction or fantasy theme, much to the 
  11. annoyance of his teachers and the consternation of his parents.  Tom graduated from the University of 
  12. Idaho in 1988 with a bachelor's degree in fine art.  Since then, he has worked on numerous comic book 
  13. projects for independent comic book and computer software companies.  He shows his paintings and 
  14. drawings at science fiction conventions in the Northwest.  His latest project is illustrating trading cards for 
  15. the Wizards of the Coast collectible card game of FASA's BATTLETECH.
